Do you have any regrets or do you still feel that you made the right decision? Not trying to judge anyone here I am just trying to understand. My mother was pushed into one 30 years ago and has emotional problems from it still. I am just curious how others have dealt with this.

Everyone I know who has had one, had a very good reason IE rape, the father was a violent monster and in one case she found out she was 2 months along after undergoing 4 months of chemo. I don't know if anyone is ever okay afterwards and everyone has dealt with it in their own way. Some has sought counseling, and I know of one friend who doesn't acknowledge what happened. If you are considering this, no matter what the reason you have to decide how it will affect you and go from there. Remember there are other options that might be better for your mental health. There is no shame in adoption and I know friend who had an abortion when she was 19 because she couldn't tell her parents she was pregnant. Now she wishes she had opted for adoption instead.

Yes, my wife did. No regrets to this day. That was 30 years ago.
It is her decision. I believe strongly that if she is mature enough to get pregnant, she is mature enough to decide about her body.
Actually, it is a decision left upto the women and I appeal to men not make a political issue out of everything. I think it is so private.

My ex-wife had an abortion with a guy before me. She has serious emotional and mental health issues because of it. She needs to take antidepressants and therapy. I guess some it don't effect, but with my ex it has done major damage!

Never did would never ask a woman to have one for me. But I would understand that it is her decision. But I would try let her know my how I felt.

yes my wife had one several years ago be for we meet. when we got to gather she was afraid that i would not lover because i am catholic. she does not regret it but she said that she will not do it again.

I never had one. But I feel if you Believe in God and his teachings that if yoiu have an abortion you will always believe in your heart that you commited an act of murder and that it would probably always bother you.
