Remember that God's timing and ours are different. It's not that He didn't answer them, but that He is waiting for a certain time to give them a certain answer. He might not have our undivided attention yet. But the thing we need to remember is that even though it may seem God is maddeningly silent, He has never left us. (Hebrews 13:5) That's why we are to walk by faith and not by sight. I've learned things like this the hard way, but the hard way is usually the best way to learn. Check out my testimony below and pass it along to anyone who might be encouraged by it.

Here's something for this certain person. Can they feel the blood pumping around there body every single second of the day? Just because you can't feel it doesn't mean it's not there. The Bible is clear that if you ask Jesus into your heart and you turn away from your sin you will be saved. Its not a question that God has ignored them. They are a Christian. I've been a Christian for 19 years and many times I don't feel that God is there, but I have to have faith that he is. Nowhere in the bible does it say that God has favourites. Trust in him and he will be there, and reveal himself to YOU!!

Darthritus is too funny. LOL.
Here's how I try to help new believers "feel" like they now belong to the Great and Good Shepherd of our faith. I like to share Revelation 3:20 with them first which says:
20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
Then I ask them if they've opened up to Christ and invited Him into their life. If they say "yes". Then I ask "how do you know whether or not Christ came into your life?". The only answer really is because he said that he would. Either it's true or it isn't. They had faith to believe that Jesus was who He said He was and did what He said He was going to do on the cross. Now, encourage them to believe His promises. Campus Crusade has a great illustration in their Four Spiritual Laws pamphlet of a train. The engine is the FACT (accurate truth) of the Bible pulling a box car behind it that is our FAITH. These are followed by the caboose of FEELINGS. It's when we put our FAITH in the FACTS (i.e. believe the Bible to be true) that we begin to experience the FEELINGS of love, joy and peace that are generated by our faith (Galatians 5:22-23).
Don't force it. It all comes from God and will show up in His time when our faith is sinicere and genuine. Love and pray for your friend. And be the best listener you can be. Best wishes.

God always answers, either His answer is Yes, No or Later.
This question cannot be left without an answer... And the answer from God is ALWAYS YES!!! But this happens only if we truly, sincerely ask Him for his forgiveness and to step in our liefs..
This man that you're telling us about doesn't fill like Jesus came into his life because , maybe, he didn't let do of everything that Jesus asked him to let go...to fell Jesus's presence near him , he must fully give his heart to the Only One that can keep it safe from harm...

It doesnt' happen. If they have asked and meant it, God IS there for them, and they are Christians. If we are talking about a real life experience here, don't be looking for the earth to move instantly as it doesn't happen like that for everyone. Gods promises are true. Anyone who isn't sure (I wasn't at first) should try going to a church and asking other Christians what they can do to get closer to God.

Did they pray to God and
- admit they are a sinner?
- ask for forgiveness of their sin?
- turn away from their sin?
- accept Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as payment for their sin?
- ask Jesus to come into their life as Lord and Saviour?
- state a desire to follow Jesus?
If they do all these things in sincere prayer to Heavenly Father, they will be saved and God will be in their life (see John 3:3).
In Jesus' name,
Amen

God knows the sincerity of the heart and if the person is unrepentant of sin in their life or is living a sinful lifestyle then God is not going to come into their life.
This person needs to reexamine their life and ask God to reveal to them any area of their lives that need to change. God will come in to a persons life who is truly seeking him.

God always reponds. That person needs to keep praying and asking. That person must ask to receive the Lord. They must step out in faith with their heart and take Jesus as their savior and be willing to give up everything and anything for God.

What a good question. The bible does say, "Draw close to God and he will draw close to you".
Now let me ask you this, is it possible to really be close to someone if you don't know their name? Psalms 83:18 says, his name is Jehovah.
This is your starting point, you know his name, now you've got to delve into his word the bible and find out about him. What he approves of, what he doesn't, what is his personality, what does he think/feel about us. The more you get to know about him, the closer you'll feel. It's just like how a friendship develops.
Not to mention John 17:3 says that getting to know him and his son Jesus (because they're 2 different individuals) is very important. Look it up.
I hope you find what you're lookin' for. :-)

If they were sincere, then at the very moment they asked, God has come into their lives. If they feel God did not respond then listen to this.
A man goes to heaven and meets Jesus. The man asks Jesus how come there times when I felt you had deserted me?
Jesus shows him a playback of his life. There were times when the man saw two sets of footprints. At times there was only one.
So the man says" See I told you right, there times when you were not with me".
Jesus replies " Son those were times I carried you"
