I know the US is the world's ambassador, and the US Open is the greatest tournament in the world, and they're tired of people referring to the British Open as "the Open Championship", but it's the US Open! If they want to qualify, can't they get a plane ticket?

My boyfriend has all of a sudden decided that he wants to tell me its weird that I have a male friend in my group of really close friends. I've even known the male friend a little longer than my boyfriend so it's not like all of a sudden there was this male friend hangin around. It's also stressful because over the years the friend's and my family have even gotten to know each other a bit and that further makes my boyfriend feel "weird". There is absolutely no attraction (and never will be) between me and the friend (well, 0 from my end anyway) and I've REPEATEDLY said that to my boyfriend. Should the boyfriend get over it (and how do I help that happen) or what???? This sucks.

I really don't like her! We are so different and even my husband calls her a "redneck". She is not educated and we have NOTHING in common. She thinks I should do all the cleaning and cooking (my husband and both work full time) and makes rude comments all the time. She comes to visits for several nights, several times of the year. I get so angry when she comes to visit and my husband understands and is very supportive. I am 29 and have for years done ALL the cooking a Chrismas gatherings, Thanksgiving and everyother visit of hers. She is lazy and doesn't do anything to help when she is here. I will say she is a very good grandmother. What should I do to get along with her?

Been out with this girl three times. First two dates we had dinner, drinks, very nice conversation...I didn't really try to kiss her goodnight either time because I was just letting her lead and if that wasn't what she wanted it was fine because they really were good dates and I figured I'd get it next time.

Went out with her again last night, just for drinks. We talked for a couple hours again, but this time I leaned in for the goodnight kiss and she couldn't have turned her head away fast enough. I know she was in a previous long relationship--the kind where she still talks to her ex--and she's probably seeing other people, which really isn't a big deal.

I'm just wondering if she's really shy, conservative, or just hung up on old baggage. I suppose I'll keep in touch with her, give her some space, and ask her out again in a few weeks...but I'm wondering if I should bother or just move on and forget about it.

So just want to ask y'all what you read into all this?

My fiance and I are planning on getting married next April in the Smoky Mountains. We'd like to have a private wedding, just the two of us, and then honeymoon in a cabin in the mountains. He had mentioned possibly inviting his family to go with us, even though his mother clearly can not stand me, and calls him two or more times a week, to tell him that he should move out and not marry me.

My parents are divorced, and do not speak, and my brother and sister do not speak either, and I would like to have no stress on my wedding day, and advoid my feuding family, and his mother who does not like me, and just have a private cermony for us, and a reception the weekend after we return for our family and friends.

My fiance now says he agrees with me, but do you think this will cause his mother to hate me even more? Or should we do what we want to do, because it's our wedding day, not hers?

I am so very frustrated....
Every time I meet a guy they act like gentlemen in the beginning of the night, but jeez.... after awhile they turn into wild animals with no self control (in my experience)

Why does it have to be that way? Why can't I find a man who respects all of me..... body mind and soul equally.......... maybe that's too much to ask. Am I living for a fairytale or does it really exist?

I would like to be in an LT relationship w/ eith a man or a woman (I'm bi). Any thoughts? Ideas? I'm sick of bars and such......

my cat seems to want to only be around the children when she is either in heat or wants to be fed. otherwise she will hiss and try to reach out and claw at them when the kids have their backs turned away from her. she also is eight years old and i don't know what to do my kids also ant to get a dog, but i don't know if ti is a good idea to get a dog with a cat who is mean.
