Firstly 'You English Fans?' Calm down with your accusatory statements my dear!

I am English, and where as I would LOVE England to win, I am realistic in acknowledging that there are many teams that have a really good shot at it too, such as Holland, The Chezh Republic, France, and of course the mighty Brazil!

So I don't think its arrogance, its just good old humourous patriotism!

Hey, first of all it's 'arrogant' and although not English, but Scottish, it's a pretty good achievement by England to go to the World Cup 2006. They have some of the top players in the world and I think it's only ambition to win the 2006 cup like any other team that's boasting the same; you should hear Germany and even the US...so come on join in the spirit of this fantastic event and cheer on your world team. The atmosphere's great! or are you one of the many who's pissed off 'cos you didn't get to go!

Enjoy!

We're not arrogant but we have to believe we have a chance of winning the cup just as any other supporter in the world. There's no harm in having a bit of possitive thought.

Some may be arrogant, mostly just for the sake of arrogance - for the majority, it's just wishful thinking crossed with patriotism. Personally, just love to see English society having a feint glimmer of solidarity - there is a shared feeling of joy / remorse which bonds us all together. Those moments make me proud to be English - shame we have to wait another 2 years for another (ie. European Championships)

Hope is all the English have, I myself am English and I know we will not win. it also sells crap like england flags and little trinkets and makes money. The english to an extent feel the world revolves around them and well they don't want to think it doesn't.

Why are you so arrogant that we cant have faith and support for England to win? You sound very criticising which isn't good. I'm going to support England all the way, whether you like it or not.
