I've known people who joined the Army but didn't like it, and couldn't wait to get out. Does anybody know of anybody friend or family who got in and got out? The ones that did get out did they go on to better things and finally do whatever it was that they wanted to do with their life?

anyone can buy any clothes. It doesn't seem any better to judge someone by how they are dressed in an interview than their skin color. And it's infuriating to be told someone won't even talk to me if I don't wear the right shoes.

Sometimes i try playing with my boyfriend and try to get him in the mood but his penis has other ideas...is that normal? Could it be that he isn't attracted to me anymore? Where is the line between being open with your friends and saying too much? I am so tired of the superficial, faked geniality of some of my friends, but I find that if I let my guard down and lay my personality and concerns out there too quickly, people get very defensive and uncomfortable.

Is there a happy medium? How do you get to that point with people where you know you can trust and rely on them? Why are some people so distant?

I know you can't force someone to care, but I want more from my friendships than happy chatter and timely jokes.
