I would think any age. They aren't going to I.D. you. The R rating is a parental guideline, not a law.

You have to be 17 in the U.S. Alot of people are saying 18, They are wrong, unless you are in a different country. In the United States you have to be 17, same with purcesing an M rated game.

17 for the majority of the states. In some states, you have to be 18 or 21. Also, you have to provide ID.
Some states are so strict, they won't let you buy a PG movie if you are under 17.
