I am 18 years old and after being me prepared with a good English I would want to establish me in California (precisely in San Diego!); my questions are: doing learn a good English I succeed in understanding the American? is it difficult to find job to san diego? does it cost one apartment to san diego (calculating that the people that work are 2) a lot? ps: i speak little english (sorry...)

The Comic Con website seems to suggest you can't park at the Convention Center itself (but aren't there tons of spaces there?). I don't really want to take the trolley or park in the Gaslamp and walk, anybody have suggestions?

my family and I are going to be going on a college tour and I wanted to know if anyone knew any fun ideas of places to visit on the side of visiting campuses. We will be visiting: UC San Diego, UCLA, USC, and UC Irvine. It would be extremely helpful to just know some fun places to see and visit as well as some good resteraunts to dine at. Also, if possible does anyone know any hotels near these campuses to stay at? Thank you so much.

I'm planning a trip to San Diego later this year and need some help choosing a hotel. My main reason is to visit San Diego State University (where I want to go to grad school). I'd like to find a hotel that is somewhat near the university, but also in a fun area with bars, restaurants, etc.
Price is a factor here (poor college students lol) and we don't need anything fancy, just a decent hotel in a nice/safe area.
Any suggestions please?

I am relocating and moving from the East Bay Area to the San Diego Downtown area. I'm hoping for something around $800 or so, but any info as to the least expensive, even if it is more than my target price range, would be helpful. Even places close to SDSU would be helpful because I will be going for a dual degree. Thanks.

In August after teaching three years in Alabama, I will be moving to San Diego to pursue a graduate degree full time.I really would like to at least have my apartment and electricity and water on upon arrival.I also need a solution to receiving male during this huge transition.
