We will be a mid to late 20's family with one kid and one dog relocating from FT. Benning, Ga. to San Diego area after my enlistment is up. Wife is an accountant, I will be empolyed by the Navy as a cop. Looking for a place that is relatively safe, good schools, house prices that match our jobs, big backyard would be nice.

I have a training in Oceanside on Tuesday. How long will it take me to get there from College Area? What's best route (805-5) (15-78). I have to be there by 9:00am.

I never work in that area, so I really don't know.......And when does the drive home clear up?

Hi, me and my girl are visiting san diego, and we planning to stay around 2 weeks. We trying to find a really cheap place to stay, cuz we couldn't afford motel around $100 per nite, that would be $1400 straight out for a place to live. Anyone kno any place cheap to stay at. We are going on 07/07/07. There are four of us, 2 adults, one child 15, one child 9.

Also, if you have information on cheap tickets to Disneyland, Anaheim, we are going there on 07/09/07.We would like the 1 or 2 day park hopper passes.

And Universal Studios on 07/08/07.

My company is considering opening a small office there and I have entertain the thought of moving my family from Austin Tx, to San Diego. I would like to know from people that actually reside in the area to give me a little info on the neighborhoods(high crime/low crime) and the school system. I know that I can get this info from a realtor if we decided to move, but I do know their main goal is to sell a house, so I dont feel as if I would get an honest opinion like I would from you guys. Any help would really be appreciated.

Leaving everyone they knew behind and starting their lives all over again?

If so how was the experience.

I'm about to be 20 and I'm thinking of going to get my masters in psychology in California.
