Has anyone eaten here recently? Was it any good? It is pricey, so I am hoping there is more than just a great view.

I'm from Belfast and my friend and I are planning to go to San Diego for two weeks sometime in August. His girlfriend and her friends are over there for 3 months and invited us over for a holiday. However, the flights seem a little expensive! Can anyone advise me what the cheapest way to get there is? I'd imagine we'd have to fly out of Dublin or London. But is it cheaper to fly direct to somewhere in California, or get to New York and get an internal flight to CA? I've been told domestic flights are very cheap in the US. If it's the former, then is there anywhere in CA (or near San Diego) that would work out cheaper to fly to? (we're prepared to get a bus to San Diego). We've looked at direct flights from Dublin/London to San Diego and they're just too pricy. Can't justify paying that much money for a 2 week break. I'd appreciate any help - any advise with regards to airlines and so forth. Cash is tight so we're really looking for the best deal we can. Cheers.

My friends are planning to San Diego. We are still undecided where to go. Which one is better - San Diego Zoo or SeaWorld?

Does anyone know of a good, clean, safe rental for 2-3 months from Dec. 2006-Mar. 2007? Needs to be near the water, not necessarily on it. I have a friend who is looking.

My husband and I are thinking of going to San Diego, CA for our 1 year anniversary. We want to go to SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo and to the beach. We can only spend about 4 days over the weekend. we plan on driving there. we think we wont waste more then 1,500 dollars with travel, food, bed and all. what do you think? should we go? or should we stay in Arizona and go to a B&B and have a romantic dinner somewhere. what should we do? should we go to San Diego? How is the weather like in July? where is the best Beach to go to? Please let me know ASAP. we must plan something soon. Thanks soooo much!

A friend is looking for long-term housing (2-3 months maximum) near the water, nothing fancy, or expensive, but safe and clean.

Needed sometime in December through March, condo/townhouse, what do you suggest? Bringing one small well-behaved pet. She's a writer, are there writer's retreats maybe? She can housesit, has done that in the past.
