Magic Mountain - approximately 3 hours from downtown San Diego based on leaving at 7 a.m.
Disney Parks (they're next door to one another) - approximately 2 hours from downtown San Diego based on a departure time of 7 a.m.
If you leave after 7 a.m., traffic tends to get heavier and your commute will be slower.

Disneyland and Disney Adventure are next to each other and take about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 depending on what part of San Diego and traffic. Magic Mountain is further and would probably be about an hour longer but can take much longer since it is one the opposite end of LA and you have to get through all the traffic. To get up to Magic Mountain, it is often better to take the 15 instead of the 5, a little less traffic that way but you would take the 5 to Disneyland.

I just drove from Northern San Diego to Disneyland in Anaheim and it only took about an hour and 20 mins at about 11am on a Thursday in June. Magic Mountain is probably about an hour & 1/2 from Anaheim depending on traffic which can be pretty bad...

Magic Mountain is AT LEAST 45 minutes further north from Disneyland.
San Diego to Disneyland on a good drive on the freeway will take you 90 minutes. Give yourself 2 hours and drive comfortably.

It only takes about two jours but sometimes the traffic can get pretty bad during rush hour so you should try to avoid that time period.
