Yes you can see it all in one day. My advice dont even waste your time. I went their years ago when i was about 10. I loved it. you could pet dolphins and the shamu show was great, it was very animal oreinted. Last summer, 10 years after my first trip their we decided to take the kids we thought they would love it! well its not the same anymore. all the shows i liked b4 were gone and were replaced by rides that werent that good. I have 2 year old twins and they were fussy the whole time because they were too young to ride the rides and stuff so after seeing the few animal shows they have left we were back at the hotel by lunch time. It was just a big let down. I had a friend that went their just this past may and she said they have become even more commercialized since last summer. on our vaca next month my family will be skipping sea world. we heard lots of great things about the animal park tho so we will be spending our money there this summer instead. good luck and have fun!

Seaworld yes. If you go into the night too. The Zoo, you can see the main stuff on the bus tour. But there is a lot more to see on foot including some animal shows. It's very hilly so it can be a very arduous walk. Ride the Skyfari when you're there. The Wild Animal Park is an all day thing, I haven't been there since they changed the railway, but my son and my sister have gone and said it's awesome. There's a harbor excursion that's pretty cool, goes for an hour or two. Enjoy your vacation!

One day at Seaworld will be enough, and one day at the zoo will be enough. You didn't mention the Wild Animal Park, but one day will be enough for that too. Same for Legoland. Only thing I'll caution you about is that if you're spending a full day at Seaworld your feet will hurt by the end of the day so you won't feel like doing that much walking the next day. I suggest you alternate the walking activites with something passive (like a harbor cruise originating downtown) to give your feet a rest. There's always lots to do in San Diego, so it's hard to suggest a length of stay here. In general, even though you could find stuff to do at the zoo or Seaworld over more than one day, I think you'd get kind of bored.

To echo the previous answer, 'yes'. Sea World is actually a pretty compact park compared to most and can easily be seen in one day. Balancing the various shows schedules can be a challenge, but you can usually squeeze in a few exhibits around each show you go to. Sea World showtimes and events vary by season, but are usually listed on their web site, in case you want to plan ahead.

In detemining how many attractions to see in Southern California, bear in mind that most will average between $40-$50 per adult per attraction, so you may have to pick and choose unless you have a large budget.
