my friend (15) and I(18) are visiting a friend and may need to rest a night in a hotel. Will they be allowed to stay in the room under my name?

south of san luis obispo by a few hours
has lots of history
has many ups and downs
"get ready to soar"
theres water and snow
"dont get too far ahead, its easy to get lost"
it would be a very very short flight from san luis obispo
the weather would give it away
we'll have fun exploring the mountains

my boyfriend is surprising me with a trip somewhere, so he's giving me a clue everyday and i don't know what it is.
it sounds like either disneyland or snowboarding or something
