Counties. Boroughs are what New York City is divided into: Bronx, Harlem, Manhattan, etc.

boroughs are in Alaska (AK). AL stands for Alabama. But the answer to your question is D) Counties.

Ditto to what WT said. Live in AL and we do not live in "buroughs"...in fact I've never heard of that in my life. I live in a city, thank you.
Parishes in LA is correct, however.
