You will be surprise how easy it is to get free hotel room and flight to Las Vegas. The answer is Players Club Card. Never play a dime in Vegas without applying for one first. It takes a few minutes to apply for one but it's your ticket to freebies. Here is more information here.

I personally have about 10 cards but here are the 4 must have cards.
1) MGM Mirage Players Club

2) Harrah's Total Rewards

3) Station Casino Boarding Pass

4) Wild Card

Having these four cards covers about 30 hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. I am not a high roller but I have enjoyed lots of freebies over the years.
Having your room or flight comp-ed has nothing to do with whether you won or lost. It has to do with how often you gambled and your average wager.

Bobby B has the right answer. I don't know why people think you have to lose big in order to get comps from a casino. The fastest way to accomplish your goal of free rooms and maybe free flights, is to play the slot machines with a Player's Casino Card. For Las Vegas, I have a Harrah's Total Rewards card (which is good at ANY Harrah's facility across the United States) and Coast Casinos. I have been given some pretty nice comps by consistently using these cards. Although I am not a high roller, I still enjoy the freebies that come with using a players card.

As you may know drinks are free in Las Vegas as long as you’re dropping money into a machine or playing at one of the table games. You can, however, score free drinks if you’re watching someone else play or if you’re just standing around in the Casino. The trick is to tip well. It sounds simple but if you’re sitting at the 25 cent slots tip the waitress $2 dollars and I will guarantee you she will be back by the time you’re next drink needs to be ordered. What I typically do is tip the waitress $5 right off the bat just so that she understands I ‘m not a cheap ***. This goes a long way. After the initial tip $1 is all that’s needed. If you’re winning drop a few more dollars in. If you’re playing at a one of the tables the chances are good you will see more waitresses come by but just to be sure pop in a good tip and you will easily have your fill of adult beverages.

To get these amenities from the casino's you have to gamble (and usually loose) large sums of money. Casino's are profit driven organizations, and they don't do any thing that looses them money. Why would they pay for your transportation and lodging if you're only going to put a few bucks in the nickle slots?

The short answer is: gamble a lot.

I get offered a free return flight to Vegas when I book at Mandalay Bay, but that's after spending beaucoup bucks there.

you will have to drop at least 20 grand or more in one night to get that kind of treatment.
Hmmmm.....
Round trip air fair should not be more than $300 to $500
A nice room around $100 a night.
Do the math!
