Central Park - go to the Boathouse for lunch - make a booking or you'll have to eat at the take away; Shopping in SoHo - very funky designer shops; The Blue Note for jazz - again - make a booking; Lincoln Center to see a performance - could be ballet, symphony, other stuff; Go see a Broadway show - I saw Hairspray in October - it was fabulous; Take the Circle Line cruise around Manahattan...promise you'll love it; Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island - gotta do it

The SEAPORT-- take one of those travel ferries around the seaport its's 20 dollars for 30 minutes, and you get to see the WHOLE city and the statue of LIberty. Trust mee its AWESOME!! Also around the seaport there are many stores and restaurants to eat around the sea.
Other places should be The Metropolitan Museum of New York, it has really good international art and artchitectures from many countries such as Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt.
