I'm a Coloradoan going on vacation in the Miami area next week. Will it be warm and sunny enough to hang out on the beach?

Yes! Miami waters are very warm the warmest in the country and they stay around the say temperature all year because of the warm gulf stream current that goes around Florida. Even when it is 50F outside the water can be 65-70F!
Anyway next week expect mostly sunny Sky's with Highs around 81-78F and lows from 65-70. So yes the weather is fine to go to the beach just about all year round. Miami Beach might get below 48F 4-5times a year and no more. Welcome to the sub-tropical climate of South Florida.

Okay, disregard the previous answers, they must be from northern Florida! Miami rarely dips bellow 70. It will be relatively warm especially if you are from Colorado. Here if it dips into the low 70s most Floridans wont go into the water. Either way, the only thing that might be an issue is rain or clouds. You will need to check weather.com every day before you go. Our weather here in FL is everchanging. It was 85 on Friday of last week and then 30 the next morning. So just check the weather. I will say that despite being used to cold weather, you will still need to bring long sleeves, socks, a jacket. For one, the weather here is more "damp" and even the 50's are chilly here. Add the beach wind to that and it's even a little chillier.
You most likely will be able to sit on the beach during the day quite comfortably. Enjoy Florida and have a nice vacation.

You have my permission, go for it. Weather is alot warmer here, live on the beautiful West Coast. The Gulf of Mexico, pristine!!!

during the morning this time of year its usually around 50-60 and noon its gets to 65-75...and at night back to 50-60....
