There are many activities to choose from in Orlando. I would recommend the following:

Theme Parks-
Everyone knows Orlando is famous for theme parks. The most famous of course is Disney. I would recommend the Magic Kingdom or Epcot for you and your girlfriend because they will be heavily decorated for the holidays. There is also Universal Studious, Seaworld, Bush Gardens and more....Disney is probably the most fun but also the most crowded be sure to get there early and if you are not staying at one of the hotels, when you go there park at the Polynesian hotel and then take the monorail over to the parks!

-As of deals on park tickets for disney, you can buy them ahead of time online at the disneyworld website disneyworld.com and you will get a 15% discount. Just about the cheapest around(most parks are doing that way too).

Beaches-
St. Pete beach is about an hour away from Orlando and is a really nice clean beach to go to. It has white sandy beaches and is a pleasure to swim in. There are dolphins in the area as well!

Air-boat rides-
While in Florida air-boat rides are a ton of fun! They take you through the wetlands. Here is a link below.

Also if you decide to go to one of the other Disney parks that I did not list such as MGM. There is a restaurant called the Sci-Fi Dine In and it is a blast! Make sure to get priority seating now if you are going to Disney. You will not be able to get into any restaurants. You can look up the number on disney website as well.

Hope you have a great time and this helps!

Go to Disney, you will have a blast. They have something at every park for every age person, whether you are into thrill rides, shows, or just want to check out a romantic dinner at in Downtown Disney. There is something for every budget, and you guys will love it!

The price is pretty reasonable compared to Universal Studios. As a matter of fact, the last time I was at Universal I was dissappointed. I thought it was not kept up very well, and the people working there were on the rude side. I purchased a two day pass for my family and I and we ended up not using the second day because we were so unhappy with the first. However, that was one bad experience, so you may be a little different. My first choice is still to go to Disney!

Hope this helps, have a great trip.

properly, in case you particularly want to get out of Florida, it won't take a NASA professional to describe which you would be going NORTH. you may attempt Savannah - holiday time with reference to the comparable as Orlando-Miami - Savannah attempting no longer basic to be yet another imitation Kissimmee. great new t-shirt shops, trinkets, even plastic mickeys. basically approximately as good a vacationer capture as Saint Augustine (Wow How they have ruined that place). or you may desire to get on line at Paula Deen's and stand in the rain for 2 hours to get in to partake in a hurry, rush form of southern style dinner, or you may desire to basically get somewhat nostalgic and picture you're back at MK. For a greater exciting project you may like Dahlonega, Georgia. approximately seven hours + from Orlando. basically great historical mining city - nevertheless has no longer extremely gotten caught up in the vacationer malaise. in case you flow to the northwest, i admire cellular, Alabama. basically a jiffy outdoors of Florida. I even have discovered cellular a great place to flow to. some motels - perhaps 4 good eating places (with great sea nutrients). no longer extremely like LBV. Disney probable gets greater travelers in one day than cellular in 3 years. (basically project I-10 is with reference to the international's maximum uninteresting street.)
