We live on Long Island and are looking to go on vacation some time in August - somewhere from Massachusetts to Virginia. My boyfriend and I are 25 and are looking to go for 4 days/3 nights. We're game for anything, so I'd love to hear some ideas! We already know all about VA Beach, so no mentions of that please. Also, please include a specific town (i.e. Ocean City, NJ - not the Jersey Shore)... And if possible any specifics - like hotels to stay at (preferably on the water front), places to go, and restaurants to eat at - stuff like that. Thanks so much everyone!!!

I have a two teacher job fairs to attend but they are on the same day. One is in Tampa, the other is in Daytona Beach. I have taught in Tallahassee for two years and I am trying to explore other areas of Florida. I can't decide which job fair to attend. We were planning on going to Obsevatory Campsite with my brother this weekend. The plan was for him to go today and claim two spots because the site is first-come first-served. However - he had to cancel yesterday because he has to attend a funeral.

Everything else is booked up and I cannot get out of work early tomorrow becaue I will be out on a business trip all next week.

Does anybody know of any decent trailer sites that are not likley to fill up by tomorrow evening? (I do not care if it has full hookups or is a primitive site.)

I was trying to find some people that had been living in Santa Cruz. How is that place to live? I saw the web site of the town and it looks very cute and fun also the population is not that big but decent, I like that over a big city.
