The heat, I would think -- but if you are thinking in terms of animals, try this one:
"This rattlesnake has a very potent venom which is considered ten times more toxic than other North American rattlesnakes, a fact that makes the Mojave rattlesnake one of the most dangerous poisonous snakes in the United States. Their venom works as a neurotoxin and is called Mojave toxin. Strangely, the bite of a Mojave Rattlesnake is usually not as painful as other rattlesnake bites."

And, of course:
"Other well-known, potentially dangerous critters of southern Nevada are a variety of arachnids. Tarantulas, Black Widows and Recluse spiders are among some of the most common varieties.
Tarantulas, although intimidating with their hairy bodies and tendency to hiss if perturbed, are not lethal. Bites are a rarity and lead to a swollen wound. One of the most common species is the Desert Tarantula, Aphonopelma chalcodes), which can range from 2 to 3 inches in body length and can be black or brown. Their most active time of year is usually the fall."
"Scorpions are another local desert dweller that are also arachnids. Usually nocturnal hunters, scorpions can be seen on mild evenings. Chances of a nighttime sighting can be increased if one uses a black light, as scorpion exoskeletons fluoresce under UV light."

If you plan to walk across the desert or are stranded in the summer time then the heat is, otherwise the legendary Mojave green rattlesnake is. The Mojave green's venom is reportedly the most venomous of the U.S. snakes.

Me, no I'm just kidding. It would have to be the heat. You can lose a litter of water an hour. Leaving you very hydrated and can suffer heat stroke in only a few hours. If you mean animals then I would go with the rattlesnake. For reason already said.
