1. Walk across the border. Millions do it every year. (Illegal; you could be shot or imprisoned.)

2. Have some one sponsor you. There would be an investigation by INS and the sponsor would need to provide information showing where their income comes from, how much money they have in the bank, and they would have to swear out an affidavit of support, which, amongst other things, states that the immigrant would not receive public assistance (to include welfare, food stamps, etc.).

3. Get married to an American citizen. If doing this, the best and quickest way to get in would be to have the American file a "Financee Visa".

4. Come in on a Work Visa, Student Visa, etc.

5. Be one of those who are seeking political asylum.

These are the main ones.

Good luck.

Getting into Mexico is pretty easy. Once your there, just walk north, swim each time you get to water, and take some of it with you. That's way the 12,000,000+ have gotten here so far.

Now if you want to do it the right way, go to a US embassy. They will be able to point you in the right direction, the right paperwork, etc. It'll be a very long and drawn out process. So don't think you'll be a citizen within a year. That very ever seldom happens. Good luck to you and I hope you do it the right way. I have no trouble with immigrants that come here the right way. My hats off to you if you do!!!

travel in style on the QM2 or fly in First Class...depending on where you are coming from, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, or British Airways.

Failing that, arrive at the Canadian or Mexican border in a limo
