I am a new resident to NY. Today, I was pulled over for going 80 in a 65mph zone on the thruway. The cop gave me a ticket for disobeying a traffice device. Is this better than a speeding ticket? Any idea what the fine is? How does NY work, is it on a point system with your drivers license? Any info would be great!

I was traveling thru Milwaukee and I noticed a tall structure just 5 minutes south of the city. It looked slightly like a temple, or maybe and observatory? It had a rounded top, and had slightly sloping sides. There was a smaller rounded structure at the base. So if you have any idea what it may have been, please let me know.
