Just stayed in one in Windsor Missouri a week ago. The most disgusting place I ever saw and I've travelled a lot. Ranking #2 was in downtown San Antonio Texas where I had a reservation but didn't stay.

A little (the only) motel in a very small town in North Carolina. I asked for a wake up call. The man asked me what time I needed it. I told him 6am. He reached under the counter, and hurdled a dusty clock-radio at me. The room smelled and to say the bed sagged is an understatement. It was near Elizabethtown, North Carolina. I can't remember the name of it. I must have blocked it.

When my ex boyfriend and i where coming back from Norway, we had a layover in London. We did not get to the Hotel till late ant night and all the resturants where closed. By this time we where starving. I asked the man at the front where the vending machines where and he told me they had none, but he could get us a sandwich. He charged up 15 dollars for it. Than when i went to take a bath, there was 4 huge spiders crawling all over the bathroom wall. I am very scared of spiders so i refused to go in there. To top it off, they forgot to call us in the morn to wake us up. We ended up having to pack and be out to the bus to take us to the airport in 15 min. worst experice with a hotel ever.

I remember one in Texarkana from when I was a child. Don't remember the name. It was an older hotel. Roaches, dirty carpet.

My wife mentioned one in Cairo, Illinois that was a non-brand hotel, of which I can only remember the approach, along a remote east-west road. Dirty, smelled like cigarettes, and too much noise outside. I think I remember it now, ugh.

A Ramada off White Bear exit outside St Paul MN, the bathroom even had blood in it from someone who was there before us. It was horrible.

Host Inn in Orlando, Florida. I can't believe the place is still there! I stayed there in, oh, about 1990. It was in a crappy part of town, the pool was green, and we were awakened by gunshots and loud cars.

Chena Hot Springs, Alaska. I couldn't wait to leave and I'd never go back. It was so bad, they should have paid me for staying there. At least I added some class to the DUMP.
