Well, you could check with rental companies and see if they need drivers to return vehicles to other states. Not only would this not cost you money, but would MAKE you some as well.

just take a car or something. the only cost is gas... even though that IS a lot.


there arent any fees to cross the border from state to state. [at least there are none that i'm aware of]

I dont get your question. There is no state crossing fee if that is what your are asking. Some states have tolls, thats it.
