Wonder if anybody can tell me what kind of things I can sightseeing or do in N. Dakota, Fargo ? (during end of Jan ~ Feb.) Considering that I will be there only 5 days, backpacking from S.Francisco to Fargo alone. I am not from the states. Also I've doubts that if it's better take the Amtrak to go there or simply fly by plane.

....and which like us the least? I have been to three other countries besides the USA, which was Italy, Switzerland, and France and I found Italy to be the most friendly and charming. I have the choice to live in a European country for a year and I would really like to live in Italy, but I would like to know your stories from other countries or even just what you think. I have some free airline tickets through work and would like to take a couple long weekend trips during the Maine winter with my husband. I was just wondering if anyone had any advise on hotels to stay at in Tampa Florida, preferabley close to the beach. Also any information on "must see" things to do is much appreciated as well!

There's plenty of stores in Lake George that sell t-shirts for as little as 3$ and sweathshirts too such as Riley's Souvenirs on Canada St. However, out of all the stores that sell Lake George souvenirs it is really hard to find a website that sells any. Please help!!

My friend and I are looking to go to a small town anywhere in America that has gambling, with table games (craps). We want to find something that has plenty of entertainment and everything is accessible, we don't want to drive around. We'll be going the weekend of the 26th of October. We'd prefer a place that we could fly right into, but if doesn't have an airport that's ok so long as it's not too far from an airport. Anyone have any ideas?

i have a family and we need to get a bigger house but no where is decent are there any places in the northeast where is affordable, has entertainment (stuff to do), and u can raise a nice family in? not a desolate place there has to be 24 hour stores!

I have not had a vacation in a really long time. I work very hard, and currently I am becoming extremelly stressed out with my surroundings. I have a weeks worth of paid vacation, and in October I will have plenty of free time. The problem... I can't really afford to go anywhere like Hawaii, or on a Carribean Cruise (which I would love to do). I live in Northern California... any ideas of places that I can travel nearby that are fairly reasonable about pricing and will be relaxing?

I'm a Canadian who travelled to the US last week and was amazed by all the american flags (not necessarily in a good way). I saw a garbage man with an American flag on his back. I saw American flags painted on the whole sides of buildings, barns and trailers. I saw Uncle Sam keeping guard on someone's porch. It's one thing to have pride in your country but oh my GOD! Canadians are proud too but we don't have maple leaves on our doors and cars and backs and mailboxes. Can anyone explain the flag obsession? (I'd just like to point out I had a great trip- I was in NH and it was absolutely beautiful)
