I think you're right! I've driven much of the length of I-95 (I moved from CT to Ft Lauderdale, back to CT, then to Jax, finally back up to MA, and I've been to Maine a few times recently). That curve is the stupidest bit of highway engineering I can ever remember seeing.

shoot it is ridiculous yeah basically everything is straigt except NB on the exit of riverside ave., main st., acosta bridge etc
im pretty sure there is a big curve just before the trout river bridge going NB it's near the zoo
well whatever

yeah, that turn is wicked. and i used to have to get off at state street, the first exit. not fun.
