Nashville is great, especially if you like country music. Some prices are surprisingly low while others are a little pricey. My dry cleaning is 30% cheaper here than at home but the campground where I am parking my travel trailer is 50% higher. Groceries are the same while some fast food restaurants are less. There are some real bargains in the motel choices if you shop around. Some of the older motels around the Grand Ole Opry area have been remodeled and offer good rates. Check on Music Valley Drive motels and get prices.

Nashville is fun. My husband and I went there when we got married because we didn't have a whole lot of money, but we still had a blast! Stay at the Hotel Preston. It is awesome! And if you go through Travelocity or someplace like that you can get a good deal. The zoo is nice, but you have to go walk around the Opryland Hotel and take plenty of film for your camera! Also go to the Oprymills Mall. You will have fun. And if you are looking for a local favorite restaurant for a special occasion eat at the 101st Airborne over by the airport. The beer cheese soup is the best!

I have been there several times and it is gorgeous. The people are so friendly and I loved the smoky mountains. If I had to move from Texas, Tn would be my next state, I love it!!!!
I enjoyed the Grand ole Opry and Opryland. Lots to see and do.
It is somewhat the same price wise as here.

The only time I went there was to go to Opryland, but they took that out and replaced it with Opry Mills a shopping mall. My daughter went with her school last year. They visited a science museum and The Grand Old Opry. But other than that I don't know what's there. You could check it out on the internet.

Nashville is a great place to visit. Bussling town, sites to see, great restaurants, good people. You would have to check on a place to stay they vary in prices.
