I live very close to Gettysburg, and I'd like to hear your opinions about my favorite place in the world.

I live in the Harrisburg area so I have been to Gettysburg many of times. They have good shopping, outlets, etc. Boyd's Bear Country is cool if that is what you are into. The Gettyburg Hotel is a cool old place. Have been on business already. It is an interesting area, I wouldn't want to live there but it is okay to visit from time to time.

I've been to Gettysburg before. It's somewhat interesting if you like cemetaries & Civil War monuments & shoo fly pie. It's definitely interesting to see the Amish in their horse-&-buggies (just don't take pictures because you can spook the animals & cause accidents).

If you are a history buff you will love it. Walk the actual battlefields and experience what the soldiers did. Its a place with allot of American history. Definitely an important place for this countries freedom.

I went once on a vacation and thought it was pretty cool, well, cold! But, it was in the winter time. It reminded me of an English moor especially at dawn. Very pretty.

Think about what? It is a beautiful place that has had it's share of horrors, & I wouldn't walk thru the fields at night!

I have been. It was a little eerie to me, thinking about all that took place there.
