I live a very sheltered life and i wish to drive across country one day (when i get a reliable vehicle) I have always wondered what it's like I live in Sacramento California and I'm used to having lot's of diversity around me am in for a culture shock ? the key here is not a list of golf, tennis, and fishing. but activities where the folks can drop the kids off and the adults actually have a several hours of down time (every day) ages 1; 3; and 6.

If you live near a popular tourist beach area, do you find that you avoid the beach most of the summer? I live close to Virginia Beach and I never go...if I do decide to go to a beach, it's usually to Buckroe Beach in Hampton or all the way to the Eastern Shore.

I may be moving to West Virginia because my fiance may be getting transferred there. I live in texas right now and am going to school to be a graphic designer. I get loans and grants right now and I was wondering if all my school stuff will transfer, or if I will have to start all over because it's in another state. Also, is West Virginia a nice area? I want to see pictures and know if this is a place where I'd really want to live. I would love a change and would love to go, but I need to find this stuff out first. Please if you know anything, help!
