Go for Miami, Atlanta is a beautiful city, but I think I'd get bored a few weeks. With Miami, you've got the beach, the downtown shopping areas, and a lot more.

Miami has more to do - so if you are going to go somewhere for 2 months...Miami is my pick.

Miami is expensive.
For the same money you can stay longer in Atlanta.
Why not just travel the coast?

There is more to do in Florida, especially since you will be
there for two months.
