I live in San Diego, California and it certainly is a paradise. Perfect weather year round. I never use a heater or an air-conditioner. I surf and play beach volleyball 12 months a year. Skiing is a short car ride away. Mexico, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, the desert, the mountains are all near.

I guess Hawaii would be a nice place to live as well, but I can't think of any other place in the country that I would want to live. By the way, I come from New York.

Is there somewhere that you can go that takes your mind off everything and just lets you relax?
Mine is Golden Gate Park in San Francisco...even though I live in Virginia. Whenever we go to San Francisco, GG Park is my frist destination...I love it!

I spent ten years living in Massachuetts before spending the last few years in California.

I love New England for it's foliage and the seasons and all that good nature'y stuff, but I'm leaning more towards Pennsylvania, just because it always felt comfortable every time I went there. But my options are completely wide open at this point!

Throw out some ideal places for east coast living! Preferably somewhere with a lush, small-town community feel to it.
