Why does a reference to Albuquerque have to be lumped in Other?

In terms of pure population - Albuquerque metro is not in the top 50 -- however it is overwhelmingly the only city in New Mexico or for at least 6 hours in any direction. It seems reasonable to highlight at least one focal spot from each state especially out west where the distances are so great and populations so small (but interesting).

My guess is that the Yahoo Answers team selected a group of American cities that seem to draw the most questions - either ones that are highly populated or are highly traveled. If more people started asking questions about traveling to Albuquerque, perhaps the YahooAnswers team would give it its own city category, or perhaps make a general New Mexico or Southwest category.

Hate to break it to you, but the Albuquerque metro area isn't big enough to be listed. Albuquerque has a metro population of 781,447. The listed cities are all at least TWICE as big as Albuquerque, with the exception of Honolulu. Honolulu, however, is a bit bigger and a much more popular travel destination than Albuquerque. Following is the listed cities metro population. You can see that they are all bigger (in most cases, MUCH bigger) than Albuquerque.

Atlanta 4,708,297
Austin 1,412,271
