Wyoming. Wyoming if you are interested in the outdoors and getting away from it all. If you ever go up there you must go to Yellowstone, I promise you will love it. It has way more wildlife than the other two, and nicer people. Colorado the many times i've been there was relatively unimpressive but Pike's Peak is cool same for the AFA. New Mexico, Uhh...Let's just say i'd rather go on vacation to Oklahoma ( Where i live).

I lived in Colorado for nearly four years in a VERY secluded place in the upper western corner. I was right at the border of Wyoming. Wyoming was a little windier, but it was beautiful, too. Colorado has a wide range of activities based on the season. There are some very touristy areas to visit, as well as some public land that is rarely touched by man. It's very soothing if you like to hike. New Mexico is even more rural, but the towns are a little more poor. If you aren't the outdoorsy type that wants to hike or bike and you want to stay in a resort, the only places in New Mexico you would like are Santa Fe and Taos. Don't stray away from there unless you like wild horses, wide, open spaces, and can stand a little poverty (there are still Native Americans, and some are bothered by their standard of living.) I love New Mexico, but I love the desert and the culture. It is VERY different from Colorado and Wyoming.

There must be reasons why only 509,294 people live in Wyoming (smallest state). I'll leave it at that...
