I am interested in taking my family to Disney World. I am pretty much clueless as to how I should buy the tickets and make the reservations. Where should I buy them? How much do they usually cost? What is the easiest way to buy them (should I get them in a special packsge or not?) But like I said I am completely lost on this ....

oh and what is a 'park-hopper'?

thanks alot!

I am thinking of booking one for my family, but, are they rip-offs? Are they as good a deal as they seem? Looking for people to share their experiences. Thanks.

If so tell me something. Two of my friends that are going with me will not go on this due to deaths that have occurred. Are they being serious, and if so were there circumstances involved?

I have stayed at The Caribean Resort, Pop Century and at the POLY all within the last 2 years. We are wanting to go back in Sept. but are unsure what resort to go to. We are thinking All-star Movies or Port Orleans French Quarter. The price difference is 500.00 to stay at the nice French Quarter, is it worth it?

On an average day, how much time does my family need to see everything at Disney's Animal Kingdom? Would it be possible to see everything and still have time to go to another theme park on the same day?

My new husband and I are looking to move to the Orlando area. I'm from NY and he's from KY. NY is too expensive and KY has no job market whatsoever. He has an Associates in Human Services and will be continuing at UCF. I have Customer Service experience but have always wanted to get into entertainment (I costumed off-broadway plays when I lived in NY).
We have plenty to complain about here. What will we complain about in Orlando?
