Does anyone know where I can find discounted disney/universal studio tickets

My 4yr old daughter and I will be in Orlando for 6 days in September at Disney World and since it is just the two of us, I want to make sure the trip is geared to her. While there are a lot of things I would like to see, I am more concerned with her having a good time. What parks, rides, and things are best for a 4yr old?? I want to make sure to maximize our time so I am planning a daily itinerary and all the help I can get would be GREAT! PLEASE ONLY GIVE HONEST HELP, I DO NOT NEED SARCASM OR RUDE JOKES. THANKS! :)

Going to disney with a 4-year old boy in mid-April. He is a wonderful child, but has a very short attention span, and cannot sit still for more than 5 minutes through anything. I'm worried that if I take him to a character dining experience, he'll just run around chasing characters... What do characters do, anyway? Just walk around? Sit down and make you eat? Put on a show? Help.....

We're going to be staying at the POP Century resort in a few weeks. I heard about those mugs you can buy and then you get unlimited refills for your entire stay. It sounds pretty cool but I was just wondering can we get drinks at night too (like 24/7) or do they close that area? We aren't going to have a fridge in the room and I don't know if we should bring a cooler so just wondering. Also, is there an ice machine there, in case we do bring a cooler?

Any other tips would help too!

THANKS!

I'm going to Disney World this September but I might only have 4 days to spend so I've to make sure I will use my time wisely. The flying time is 5 hours from California to Orlando plus 3 hours time difference, so totally I'll be missing 8 hours and I haven't even included the airport check-in time yet. My question is, when will be the best time to depart from Cali? I was thinking maybe the 11pm flight so by the time I arrived Orlando will be around 7am in the morning then I can start my day right away, but I'm not sure if I will be extremely tired already since I'm not sure if I can sleep on the plane for those short hours. Any good suggestions?

Pls do not answer if you are not serious about my question, thanks.

I have a special needs daughter and we are planning a trip to Disney. I have not found any thread that talks about Disney vacation insurance. If there is, please let me know. She has many special needs and I am concerned that if something pops up medically(they usually do..)that we will be at a loss of money and a vacation. People tell me if you go through an agent they have this insurace for medical emergencies to safeguard you. We are working with a fixed budget so I am concerned what the cost may be. If anyone has any suggestions on how to help..I had thought my parents would keep the baby but it looks like she will be coming with us. I will take any advice you can throw my way. Thanks!!

I made dinner reservations for Tony's at Magic Kingdom (WDW) for 7:40pm on a Sunday in April. This will enable me to view the parade (Spetromagic?) at 9pm or so. The people taking the reservation said I can request the outside sitting at 'check in'. What if I tip a hostess when I get there? Is this frown upon (or appreciated)? Will this get me anywhere (i.e. increase my chances for an outdoor sitting)? What do you think?

We'll be staying at the Dolphin (part of Swan/Dolphin Complex) at Disney World. I understand that it's pretty close to Epcot and MGM. Can anyone tell me approximate ride time (via Disney-provided buses) from the Dolphin to Magic Kingdom (plan for day 1) and to the Animal Kingdom (plan for day 2). Thanks!

I'm planning on going to orlando in 2 and a half weeks. I still don't have hotel reservations. It will be my boyfriend and I. I would like to visit some of the theme parks, and be close to everything ( food, nightlife, shopping). Any ideas on where to stay?

We are going to Disneyworld Florida next October and haven't been before.
Was considering staying at Animal Kingdom but some people have mentioned IDrive with the close proximity of shops and restaurants.
Which would you recommend?

Staying on Disney property but not in a Disney resort. Staying at Swan/Dolphin in Mid-April. I hear the food is very expensive at Swan/Dolphin (and at WDW in general). Are there outside places (pizza, etc.) that can deliver to the room? Which ones? Is that even allowed? Please enlighten me... Thanks!

About WDW Boardwalk: When do street entertainers come out? Any of them kid-friendly? I would like to take my 4-year old boy there for a few hours in the evening - the day of our arrival to Disney World (I don't want to go to the park on that day - we'll be arriving ~ 4pm). Do you think this is a good idea? MouseSavers suggests this as a 'cheap thrill'.
