Definately travelcitydirect.com, they are very reasonable and the plances are very comfortable! They fly from Manchester, Glasgow and London and at sensible times too! I use them religously. They do great offers on car hire theme park tickets and accomodation if you need it! We live in Northumberland but can get a train to Manchester Aiport from newcastle with only one change at York and the trains match well with the flight times.

Theme Parks- well i can give you so much info! I have been 13 times now and am going next year and getting married their in nov 2009!!

Disney-

Magic Kingdom is just disney all over!!! Its more for the little ones but the parades and fireworks are amazing! They realy do bring a tear to your eye! There are plenty of nice shops there too and restaurants!

Epcot- Is fab but a long day!! You walk for miles so if u have small kids, def get some buggies!! The world showcase is very interesting but it mainly shops and things for adults although there are a few good rides for the kids e.g the finding nemo and soarin (which is so amazing and well worth the ques) and honey i shrunk the audience is very funny!

Animal Kingdom- Get here as early as it opens, and head straight for the safari! Its the best time of day to see the animals! Its fab, u would never think u were in a disney theme park!! This is a lovely park and the attention to detail is fab. Everest is terrifying but really fun!! Dinosaurland is also fab for kids as its all adventurous and the rides are cool and mainly foir kids! the shops at Animal Kingdom are fab!

MGM- is all about the movies, a very fun park and interesting behinmd the scenes stiuff from lots of cool disney films!!! There is also lots of princess things here, this is the smallest of the parks.

Typhoon Lagoon- good water park, its very relaxed and is like a beach style place and is more relaxing. You can even swim with small sharks and trpoical fish here!

Blizzard Beach- for big kids and teens really! lots of thrill slides! But lots of fun!

Downtown disney- is a must!! It least twice! It is somwhere you should go in the early evening after a lazy day! The shopping is incredible and the restaurants at pleasure island are fab, especially the irish bar!! its quite pricey but is well worth the money!!! We often go on our last night.

Either the fantasia Mini golf or the winter one next to blizzard beach are both excellent! You have such a laugh and they are done in such disney style!!!

Universal Studios and Island of Adventure-

These are both now one park and u can just about do them both in one day. Both about the movies and have excellent rides and shops! if u have a son who likes Spiderman, I would def recommend the spiderman ride at Island of Adventure!! It is awesome! even my 63 yr old dad loved it!!!

Sea World- no words can actually describe this place. You just cant miss it out of your holiday!! It bdoesn't feel like a zoo or that its cruel at all. All the animals look so happy and its incedible what they can do!! U have to see as many shows as possible, especially believe, blue horizons (the dolphins) and mystify! So make sure u plan other things like feeding the dolphins or sting rays around the shows. U will get a leaflet from the entrance, make sure u study it- u dont wanna miss anything!!!!

Accomodation- We usually get travel city fly drive and book our own villa! U can get a much more reasonable rate and u know what to expect and where your villa is. I would def avoid International Drive, its pretty tacky and sooooo busy!! U really wanna be in Kissimmee or staying at Disney. Close to Highway 192. Thats where most of the nice restaurants are and shops! We stay at emerald island or formosa gardens, they are both fantastic and pretty exclusive yet not overpriced.

Tickets- I would def advise getting the 14 disney ultimate tickets and buying your sea world and universal ones before u go. Travel city do them, and they are such great value. With the 14 day Ulitimate u get unlimitied access to all disney parks inlcuding water parks for the duration of your 14 days (u can get 21 also. They are so flexible! When u think for adults, the price of each theme park is around £45-50 and theme park around £20 if u went to all 6 it would cost u around £240. But these tickets are around £160-£170 for adults and£130 for kids and u can go in and out of all the parks as many times as u like! Plus the advantage is you know when u get there what money u have is for spending on food and souvenirs and of course the cheap designer clothes!!!! And u dont have to worry about the cost of getting to the parks.

(just for your info) as a couple of two with no kids we normally take around £1400 spending money and the credit card. we usually buy lots of clothes and souvenirs though!

I hope I have helped you, u will have the time of your life!! It really is the most amazing place! If u want any more info just email me!

P.S would definately avoid airtours with Monarch as we flew with them last time as was direct from Newcastle but the plane was so cramped and unclean and the staff were miserable!! U need to be comfortable on a long haul flight and we were all so uncomfortable. I would never fly with them again!

http://www.bookertravel.co.uk offer some great cheap fly drive prices to Orlando.

While in Florida you should visit Kissimmee for a great shopping experience.

Amelia Island-- in the northeast near Jacksonville-- has lovely beaches, a historic fort complete with actors who play period characters, a quaint town with historic sections, delicious sea-food, and two fine resorts that welcome families.

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay
This 335-acre theme park has four thrill-ride roller coasters, three water-rides, lovely landscaped grounds, attractive African theming, and opportunities to view elephants, rhinos, giraffes, etc. A fun, pretty park that's manageable to do in one day.

Oh and I think there is a small place called Disney World :)

Use the speedpasses! Go to your local travel agent. The yhave the best package deals. Also, call Disney straight and get the deal of the day and save $50 a night at a Disney hotel. The cheapest time to go is the Fall.

When flying, also look at Daytona Beach Airport, Sanford Airport in addition to Orlando as they are both fairly close and easy to get to the Orlando area from them (all you have to do is drive west on the interstate after renting the car).
