We'll be staying at the Dolphin (part of Swan/Dolphin Complex) at Disney World. I understand that it's pretty close to Epcot and MGM. Can anyone tell me approximate ride time (via Disney-provided buses) from the Dolphin to Magic Kingdom (plan for day 1) and to the Animal Kingdom (plan for day 2). Thanks!

It's about a fifteen minute ride to the Magic Kingdom (that's because the bus takes you right to the gate of the Magic Kingdom instead of the Transportation and Ticket Center -- where most people still have to take a monorail or ferryboat across the Seven Seas Lagoon to get to the Magic Kingdom).

It's about an eight-minute bus ride from the Dolphin Hotel to the Animal Kingdom.

The buses run at least every twenty minutes, and more frequently during peak demand times.

I agree with both the previous posts.
Something you want to consider though is alternate transport.
Going to the different parks via bus is okay but the Dolphin is fairly central to the all the parks, okay it is right next door to Epcot, but there is the Monorail, and the boat system. These can take longer.
2 years ago after a very long yet enjoyable Christmas day in the Animal Kingdom we wanted to slow down so we caught the boats. We actually started at MGM and ended up at the Magic Kingdom. The best part was that we were alone on one of the ferries on the 7 seas lagoon when the water parade of lights went by. It was romantic and the perfect end to a very enjoyable trip. So some times faster isn't the one you remember, its the slow one.

I hope you have a great trip.
