My fiance and I are planning a honeymoon and I thought this would be a "cute" place to go especially because it looks like the city is called kiss-a-me! Any one know about this place?

Kissimmee is a great place! I took my fiancee there for a 5 day weekend last month! There's lots to do! There are all the Disney parks, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, & Busch Gardens all within driving distance. :-D

If you're interested I can give you the address & phone # for a helicopter tour place that's got REALLY great prices! I took my fiancee on a tour & it was incredible! :-)

Don't go to Kissimmee unless you plan to go to the Disney parks. That's virtually the only reason anyone goes there. It's just a town with a bunch of hotels. But the Disney parks are great fun and I know a lot of people who have gone there on their honeymoon. You may want to do two or three days at Disney, then go to one of the coasts in Florida. The Atlantic side has Daytona and Cocoa Beach (Cape Canaveral) and the Gulf side has beautiful white sand beaches. The great thing is that either coast is only a couple hours away from Kissimee.

Kissimmee is right next to Orlando. If you want to go to Disney World or Universal studios, Kissimmee is cheaper than staying in Orlando but really close to it. I am pretty sure it is on the beach, but when we went there all's we did was go to Disney World and Universal Studios. I recommend Universal Studios, it is great for people of all ages. Not sure if this is quite a honeymoon place but it is fun.

Actually it's pronounced Ka-sim-e. But still go there. You can have lots of fun. Plus Cocoa Beach is only a 40 minutes drive and that is an awesome beach. I'll take the beach anyday over the "ears".

That pretty much one tourist trap. There's plenty to do, including Disney World and all those other attractions. YOu can actually see the fireworks from Disney Worlds in Kissimme.

Cute, huh, traffic, tourists, over priced. Live in Fla, visit Lovers Key, Naples, Sarasota, Siesta Key. Pure, beautiful, where I go on vacation.

There's a lot to do. If you've looked at a map you should know it's right next door to all the Disney attractions, Sea World, etc.
