He would be very proud. Look at all the millions of people he has made happy, even if was just for a day...

My friends (fellow Cast Members) and I always say "If Walt could actually see how his parks (at least in Orlando) are, he would be turning in his grave". Don't get me wrong I love anything Disney, but the magic just isn't there or isn't as much as it should be.
Now all the executives care about is making money, they don't give a rats *** about the cast members, we are just a number to them if even that. And because of that cast members (not all) don't care as much about the park or the guests. It's a shame but true, may not be as evident to outsiders but once you work for the mouse it becomes more apparent.

I think that he will be pleased that his original plan for making Walt Disney World/Disneyland was to let the guests learn while they are on Vacation, is actually being saught threw. All 4 of the parks do that in their own way. You have the Magic Kingdom that lets you learn what Walt Disney himself believed in and loved, it was his visions to make children of all ages happy. Epcot lets you learn about the future and lets you learn about the cultures of different other worlds. MGM Studios has you understanding about movie making, and Animal Kingdom is letting you learn about Dinosaurs and Animals from all over the world. I think he would be in awe with how much his little world has grown and how much people from all over the world love to come and visit it.

I asked a similar question to this a few months ago. Personally, I think he would be somewhat pleased. The Magic Kingdom turned out like he wanted it to in my opinion. Epcot, however, is radically different than what Disney would've liked; I think the nearby town of Celebration, Florida most reflects what he would've wanted out of Epcot, but I think he would appreciate the futuristic technology and world culture evident at the park. I think he would like Disney-MGM Studios; I imagine he'd feel right at home in a movie-like atmosphere. I think Disney would really like Animal Kingdom; Disney really cared about animals and their preservation; I think he would want Dino-rama bulldozed, though, because the carnival-like games there are meant for town fairs and such, not to mention that guests are charged for each game. I find that especially tacky.
Overall, I think he would be about 80% satisfied.

I think he would be pleased at how happy his dream makes people. It really is the happiest place on earth.
As far as the Cast Members feeling unappreciated amidst all the happiness, I'm sorry. I had friends in college that worked for Disney and said the same things, and that was 10 years ago! Knowing that, I am always polite and as friendly as possible to all Cast Members. It wouldn't be the same place without y'all.

They aren't the way he planned them, and I think there would be some changes he would make, but for the most part, he would be glad that they are still going on and carrying on his tradition of making people happy to be in a place where kids AND adults can have fun. Now his movie industry... well, that's a different story.

I have always admired him and his dreams and passion. I have read many books about him and truly believe he would be pleased at the progress that has been made to his namesaked resort but do think that being the perfectionist he is, he wouldn't be able to resist "tweaking" things as he saw fit!

You do know he is kept in suspended animation in the top floor of Cinderella's castle don't you? I think Walt would be pretty happy but he'd want to make some changes for sure....especially when he saw what they did to "EPCOT", his Experimental Community of Tomorrow...LOL
