Disney pretty much offers the same prices no matter where you go. For example, AAA offers a discount if you have a membership, however, for most dates Disney offers their own promotion, which ends up being much better than AAA's discount in most cases. So, in the end all the prices usually end up the same.

Sites that claim to be discounters, like Orbitz, Expedia, etc. usually aren't offering a discount at all. When I looked just to see how prices compared, these sites all ended up being more than what I could get with my agent, usually it was only a few dollars, but still more. I would never book with these type sites though, you can have a lot of problems with them, bad customer service and things like that. So, I definitely recommend staying away from them if you can.

A travel agent is also a good option. Contrary to popular belief, most agents don't charge anything to use them. Actually, an agent will probably save you money in the long run. Disney specialized agents have a lot of great info for saving money of food, transfers, etc. Also, most agents, will automatically lower rates if/when Disney offers a promotion for your dates. So, you don't have to worry about watching for the promotion or changing things.

I would definitely avoid using anything like eBay. You are risking getting nothing with the money you spend or finding yourself in a bad situation. The problem with eBay is that you don't really know what you are getting into. I would also avoid any less common sites when it comes to travel, be sure to use sites that are popular for that destination and have been in business for many years with good reviews.

Since the rates run the same for most every option, you could also book with Disney. There rates should be the same as what you can get just about anywhere. Just be sure that with Disney you look over everything very well and make sure nothing is wrong or missing, it is not uncommon for a lot of little problems to happen with Disney.

Be sure to sign up for some Disney newsletters, you can usually get a lot of info this way. For saving money your best choice will probably be Mouse Savers.

Hope this helps!
