I am not talking about reserving a room. I am talking about going in, getting a room and paying for it... can cash be used?

I am their to bebuild the homes to help people. Not show you how to use a hammer and nail, use a power-tool, and lift the heavy stuff for you when I am in the middle of something!

This Cowboy helped rebuild 11 homes all for free for the poor, but I can no longer do it. The woman that come on the job just seem to ruin the momentum of everything. And, the jobs get extremely catty. Good Luck New Orleans. Comments?

I am interested in going on a few tours while I'm in New Orleans. I am especially interested in the spooky tours. Ghosts, Vampires, Voodoo, Cemetary...there are too many to chose from! Which tours and tour companies do you think are the best?

What actually happens on Fat Tuesday? I mean what activities occur? Does the partying continue all through the night? or is Monday night the biggest party night?

I am asking because a friend in New Orleans said I should book a return flight on Tuesday afternoon. Does this make sense?

Does anyone know anything about St Vincent's Guest House on Magazine Street? It used to be an orphanage, named St Vincent's Infant Asylum. I'm curious about what it is like now, though. Is it a nice place to stay?

I've got some job interviews coming up in NOLA, but I'm a little apprehensive about actually moving to the Greater Crescent City, even 18 months after Katrina. Aside from the crime (which will _always_ make news), what is it *really* like "on the ground" in the Pontchartrain Parishes as far as living there?

I went down to New Orleans this past July and spent a week gutting houses and helping out at a distribution center called "Camp Good News". If you have any stories you'd like to share about your experiences down there I'd love to hear them, especially if you also served at Camp Good News.

I'm a New Orleans native who just moved to Brooklyn, NY, but I'm going back home to New Orleans (my forever hometown) to visit family & pick up some of my belongings & then leave the day after Ash Wednesday. I really don't plan to do anything special. I'd like to go to Endymion parade, though.

If yes where can it be seen? Is it more common in the northern or southern parts of the state? Is it the sort of event that is advertised and you might buy tickets to in the same way you would a baseball game?
