If yes where can it be seen? Is it more common in the northern or southern parts of the state? Is it the sort of event that is advertised and you might buy tickets to in the same way you would a baseball game?

Cockfighting is banned in 48 states. Only two states – Louisiana and New Mexico – do not have statewide bans against cockfighting.

However it has become more recently heavily regulated and laws passed that have all but banned it in LA.
