Anyone know where there is good live music tonight in Long Beach, CA? Folk, Blues or Rock??....

We will be staying at a Disney hotel in March and we have an 8 yr old and 12 year old. Would probably want to go to House of Blues for a drink or two and listen to some music one night at the Downtown Disney District.

Our hotel offers in room babysitting services but I have never known anyone to use them.......... scary or ?

I realize that "Budget Rent a Car" is providing the pick-up service between an airport and near-airport Budget location. I am gonna have a flight to LA and leave LAX from terminal 7. Then, I need to go to Budget car rental company. Could anyone tell me where to take Budget's pick-up service suttle near terminal 7? Thank you.

I am looking for a hotel in LA with a tropical/Hawaiian/tiki theme. You know those older style motels that are a bit kitsch?! Not bothered on area, someting with parking would be good though. Don't mind if it's older, just not too run down. Under $100/night also.

I'm a student from Thailand and I have never been to Los Angeles before. I will go to LAX in Mar but I have to transfer from LAX to Long Beach Airport in LA. My partner and I will be in LA in September and we are wanting to see Hollywood, Santa Monica, Disneyland, etc etc. Should we spend half of our time in Hollywood, then move down to Anaheim? I've heard that the hotels in Anaheim are fairly ordinary and there isn't much else to do apart from the theme parks?
Maybe spend half the time in Hollywood then move Downtown closer to Disney but still be somewhere exciting?
What's to see in Downtown at night?
Sorry, lots of questions all at once.
Also, how do we get around? Will we need a vehicle or can we rely on public transport and shuttles from our hostel to sights?

We are going to Hollywood and LA for summer vacation and heard that it can get kind of creepy over there. We are looking at staying at the Hollywood Celebrity Hotel on Orchid Ave. Right behind the Kodak theatre and all the goodies in Hollywood. Would you reccomend that?? I'm goint to Coachella Festival 2007 on April. I'm flying to LA and need a way to get to Coachella valley. What are my options? Don't know the name of the airport I'm landing in, but you can give general options to get from LA to Indio too.
