Hey guys.
I am looking at going to California (La and Vegas) in between January and May.
I am wondering when do you think is the best time to go.
I got told that i should avoid winter as i am going to the attractions etc so i was thinking in between march - may (is that spring there ??).
Whats the weather like then is it good ? Is it a low season or ?
Any help would gladly be appreciated cheers.

HEy im planning a quick trip just to get away for a bit ( 1 day ) to Los angelas im flying into LAX andi get there at 7:35 and i leave the next day at 10 at night is there anything to do in that span time is there a mall close by or anything? im just wondering what i should do in this time my flights are free and i had to use these coupons quick or they woulda expired so i decided to go to LA anyone have any idea what to do? im not old enough to drink im just looking for some shopping then heading back home! anything close to the Airport? Hi there

My husband has looked at getting a job in Santa Monica - we are from the UK & dont know USA, so he is literally talking to an agency that specializes in Jobs abroad & being a family with 4 children we are limited with who will offer him a family package with a job.

He had already been offered one in Miami, which is due to start Feb/Mar should we choose to take it, but he also has been asked to go for an interview regarding one in Santa Monica.

My husband hates to commute & i dont drive so i guess what i am wondering is if Santa Monica is the place for us? Is there any area nearby that i will feel at home in & will my husband find it relatively easy to get to work?

Where i am we have a house with private garden & schools & shops within walking distance. My neighbours say 'hi' in the mornings.

Is there a place for us there, where i wont feel too isolated when my husband is at work & if so, at what cost? Is there a min amount you recomend he earn?

Hi,
Im 19, english and living in england. My sister is 28, american and living in england. My sister was born in America and has lived in England for most of the life. This technically makes her a US Citzen, right?
So i'm correct in saying that she can sponsor me to get a permenant living and working american visa?
Does she have to be living in america for her to sponser me?
I have got the I-130 form to fill out. Is there any other forms i need?
I also read that it will take about 10 years from applying to actually getting the visa? is this correct?
I have previously had a J1 visa working at the Disney Florida resort, and am currently applying for another J1 visa for this summer, will this affect my application?
There are many legal websites offering help with the application, is this needed because the price is very high!!

Quick Question...
I'm flying into LGB on Sunday morning... then I gotta get
to a hotel near LAX, so we can fly out to Hawaii the next morning.
Anyone know what the easiest/cheapest way to get from LGB to LAX? I don't really want to rent a car just to make the 30 mile trek... but I also know that it might be just as much as a taxi ride. And I don't know if there are different "rules" on Sunday (if all the regular public transportation still runs). And public transportation takes HOURS.
