I am making a Thanksgiving trip between Worcester/Boston (Shrewsbury) Mass. and Newark (Fanwood) NJ, and given that this is a corridor that sees heavy Thanksgiving traffic, I want to know whether traffic is heavier on Wednesday evening or early Thursday morning, or if it is about the same. Also suggested routes would be appreciated.

I am looking for a place that I could travel with my fiance for a weekend away. We live in Eastern Maine and don't want to drive too far, but would still like to get away for the weekend and do somethings that are fun and different. Any ideas? Thanks!

Rally towels are good for player morale, they're good for the overall excitement of the game. A lot of teams in other cities hand them out to fans during playoff games, but never in Boston. Why not in Boston?

The biggest argument is that the towels will wind up on the field/court/ice...but they never have this problem with fans in other cities, do they?

(answers from Yankees fans not accepted).

I recently received a degree from a state university in the midwest, and I'm thinking about relocating to Boston. However, my concern is this: since there are multiple prestigious schools pumping out graduates in the Boston area, I'm wondering if people like me that went to "average" schools have extra difficulty establishing careers there.

Is there any validity to this concern of mine?
