Huge Buckeye fans traveling to Boston this weekend & are nervous about the possibility of missing the Penn State game ~ can anyone reccomend a Boston area sports bar that is Buckeye friendly? Or at least airs multiple college football games?

Across the street from Game On is the Cask and Flagon bar, they have many big screen TVs that will be airing multiple college games simultaneously. I'm sure they would put the Ohio/Penn game on if you asked.

Both Cask & Flagon and Game On are next to Fenway Park.

To be quite honest, almost nobody follows college football in Boston. Hell, even Boston College (ranked # 2) doesn't sellout all its home games and they play in a pretty small stadium.

With game 4 of the World Series (Red Sox - Rockies) on at the same time as The OSU / Penn State, you will be hard-pressed to find any screen in Boston tuned to football. Unless of course, you tip your bartender and wait-persons VERY well.

Around these parts, money talks!

Enjoy Boston!

Unless the games are on at the same time as a huge Boston game, I think the Sports Depot in Allston should have most of the college basketball games on. They have good food, and beer/drink selections too. Overall a good place to check out for a bar, really. And they have more TVs than anywhere. . .

Another option would be Game On, at Fenway Park. They have lots of TVs and tend to try to offer a variety of options.

Is there a Philly bar in Boston. Probably not. But then again Boston is a more popular city than Philadelphia so maybe, but I doubt it.
