I already know that it's a bit over 100 miles, but how long does it actually take to drive, considering traffic, etc? I want to hear from people who actually drive it, not people who are just going to divide the distance by a given speed, which I could do myself.

I am going to Boston in March with my family, on the15-23, and I was wondering what are some fun and interesting things we can do. I know, of course, that this is during St. Patrick's day, and I would like to know of some things going on in the city during this time.... Parades? Festivals?
Also, I know there are a TON of historical sights and landmarks, and feel free to list any you know, but I would also like to know of some lesser know places around the city. What are some great restaurants that are off the beaten path? Any charming shops that you like or have visited? Also some info about the surrounding areas--like Cambridge-- would be helpful. Any cool tours you have taken, parks, etc., would also be helpful. Any other info I need to know is greatly appreciated. THANKS!

A small group of us visit Boston each February. Were looking for a trip lasting a day/afternoon. We do not have a car as were flying there. Preferably not too expensive, though that would depend what it is

Any ideas?

The Princeton Taekwondo team needs to get from Princeton University in New Jersey to MIT in Boston, Massachusetts on October 13th and back to Princeton on October 14th. We're working with limited funds. So, what's the easiest and cheapest transportation choice for the Princeton Taekwondo team? Where can I reserve such transportation? Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm planning to go to NYC for the weekend, Sat & Sun to visit friends. I've taken the bus, train, and plane. The bus is okay, but less comfortable than the train. And returning on Sunday afternoon/evening I heard can be a pain because of the line(s). I have taken the plane, but its almost the same time as the train/bus considering security, etc and its quite expensive. For the train, its quite expensive too (Amtrak) $78 for the cheapest in the regional train, but it is quite comfy.

Please advise. I'm planning on taking the bus on Sat morning and regional Amtrak train on Sunday.

Thanks for your help.

Getting ready to come out to Boston on Oct. 13-16. It will be my first time to the area, anyone have any recommendations, what to see, what not to see, where to eat and such. I am thinking of going up to Maine as well, is that a good idea, or is Cape Cod worth seeing.....need ideas etc..... Being from Utah it'll be a different visit, but hope it'll be fun....again any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks

Will be on a driving vacation from Oct 3rd through Oct 9th in New England. Do you have any recommendations for local festivals that we can take in?

I flew to Boston this weekend to check out the area. Some guy kept feeling up my leg on the train. Anyway, I noticed a few odd things about the people there. First, there are no Mormon people, but a ton of Jewish people. Also, there are no Mexicans but many Dominicans, Cubans etc. There are not many blondes; most people are brunettes, and people are generally meaner. They're always in a hurry, even if it's just to grab a donut. Some people don't own cars, they just use public transportation. It also seems that fashion is more about covering up and less about having a hot body. What else should I look out for? I don't own any coats.
