I'm going to be in Nantucket, MA for a few weeks in November. I know it is way past the peak season. What is there to do?

I've been to Nantucket in November and it was wonderful! Stayed at the Jared Coffin House http://www.jaredcoffinhouse.com/ Weather was invigorating and lots of things were open. One of the high points of the visit was an early Nor'easter http://www.weather.com/encyclopedia/winter/noreast.html Visitors were asked to either cut their stay short and leave on the ferry while it was still running or plan on staying on for a few days without ferry service. We stayed and it was great. I grew up in New England and when a Nor'easter arrived, I was always safely inland. But not on Nantucket, it was truly an experience. Go and enjoy!

Best of Luck to You!
