Hi everyone. Since the weather is becoming nicer, I have started to add a biking regimen in addition to my regular walking on the treadmill. I do travel a lot, and my next road trip will be to Boston. I wanted to know if there any bike trails in the greater Boston area, but particularly with an emphasis on flat trails, which are good for beginners. I know the web site http://www.massbike.org is a good starting point, but I thought I'd ask the locals-does anyone know of some straight bike trails? Also, are you charged to use the parks if you are a visitor? Thanks, Steve.

Moving from western MASS, in with a friend who lives in Lowell right now and works in Bedford. She wants out of Lowell but not too far from work either. I would like a town that's got some quiet areas to live but isn't far from stuff to do...nightlife, etc..

Hi there. I got this internship in USA, in Springfield but will live in Wayland, Boston. I know it is 90 km between these towns and I wonder if there is any train/bus that I could buy season ticket for. Or monthly ticket. What train/bus company? Do they ever have this system of monthly tickets in USA?
thank you in advance for help!

There's a good chance that I am going to be offered a position in Boston and will be moving there at the end of summer. I'm starting to look for apartments but I haven't the foggiest idea what areas are good /bad. I'm working at MIT and want to avoid the college crowd.... just had to ask my neighbors to turn their stereo down so I could work on the thesis! I have heard that traffic is terrible and am thinking that I might want to live along the red line.... the further out of the city the better as I grew up in the country and like the peace and quiet! Any suggestions would be welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks

We just scored Red Sox tickets for Mother's Day weekend and need to find a nice hotel. Fun, not frumpy and with a nice place for us to have a drink at night but still bring our kids.
