Hey Guys. I'm planning a trip to Boston,MA this comming June. I was just wondering if anyone could give me some tips on where the best shopping is in Boston. Is there a Abercrombie,Urban Outfitters there?. I'm planning to see Harvard too. I have never been before but i hear Boston is amazing. So if anyone could give me any tips and what not on shopping and any other sites to see, and anything else, haha. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My bf and I are going to Cape Cod 2 weeks from now (if it doesn't rain that day). Our bus will drop us off in Hyannis. We have from 9am-8pm to explore and then our bus will take us home that night. We will have no transportation once in Hyannis, only walking... any suggestions?

I'm asking because I got into school in Boston, and am wondering if "the weather" is enough to be a negative factor. I used to live in Philadelphia, but moved to San Diego in 2001. I'm thinking "If I could handle Philly for 6 years, and Boston isn't much different, I'm sure I'll be fine there for college." But I've forgotten how Philly is, and do not know if Boston is different!
Thanks.

Hi,
My best friend and I are moving to Boston and she would really like to live in South Boston. I am concern about living in this neighborhood bc I'm gay and I've heard that it's a very close-minded neighborhood. Any advice? I would really appreciate it. Thanks :)

I am thinking of moving from San Diego to Boston and wanted to feel out what the liklihood of my being able to stay in my field of Television casting or teacher theatre would be. Does Boston have a strong foot in the industry. I know NY and LA are better choices. But I have done NY and now what to stay near my family who might be moving to Falmouth. Advice is appreciated!

I've heard Dorchester is poor and dangerous, but I've also seen that it is very affordable. My husband and I are considering buying a condo there, but would like to hear from a few that live there. We have been in Boston for about 4 yrs and are familiar with many other areas (Somerville, Cambridge, Boston, etc.), but don't know much about Dorchester.

Moving on June 1st, 2007. Both parents work, One in Framingham, one closer to Newton. We have 2 kids, one starting kindergarten this year the other is only 18mo. I've heard daycare is hell so will likely go the nanny route. Want to buy into a house/condo but only have 30K+ to put down. Our household income is about 160K/yr so we are neither rich or poor. Oh...and need to go to NYC almost weekly...I know there is a train but not sure where it takes out of?

Very excited about this move, but obviously have a lot of complex things to work thru and I'm just starting. I think I'm mostly concerned about location and good public schooling. I'll worry about private when the get to high school. :)

Appreciate anyone's help! :)
