Hi there. I got this internship in USA, in Springfield but will live in Wayland, Boston. I know it is 90 km between these towns and I wonder if there is any train/bus that I could buy season ticket for. Or monthly ticket. What train/bus company? Do they ever have this system of monthly tickets in USA?
thank you in advance for help!

I'm sorry. The person who answered you above is incorrect.

The MBTA offers service close to where you will be living into Boston. You may have to walk, bike or be given a ride to the station which by my calculation is approximately 4 miles from Wayland Center.

Here is the tool you need to figure out schedules and monthly pass costs.

First of all it's 90 miles not 90km which translates into an 1-1/2hour ride one way if no summer back ups, accidents or bad weather in the winter on the Pike.Peter Pan Bus Lines has a lot of runs both ways of course so I would think that would be your choise.
Wayland to Spfld. every day? Live long and prosper.

No trains anymore (they only go to Worcester), except for 1 Amtrak each way (in afternoon, but eastbound is usually hours late) but there are busses, Peter Pan Buslines I think. But they do not stop in Wayland. They may not even stop in Framingham or Riverside.
